When I read the blurb by Michael Marshall Smith, I just knew I had to have it. This is a seriously powerful tool for writers. It handles all the processes of writing: researching, outlining, organising, drafting and editing in a single intuitive space.

I still love Omni Outliner and Nova Mind. In fact, I think I will probably use a combination of all three for my work, not to mention Pages and Keynote for outputting it all at the end.

Right now I’m using the 30 day trial of Scrivener, but I will definitely be buying it and anyone with a Mac who writes or studies should at least check it out.

If you don’t have a Mac, then this program alone is enough of a reason to switch.

Another coffeee I think…
